I can see that there is just one bed left in 4 beds room for men, for the 27/10 to 30/10 I am a woman, I would like to know if the rooms are just for man or mix.

We offer beds in dorms for men and in dorms for women. We offer mixed rooms for men and women only for married couples and families.

Munich accommodations

Very clean, modern accommodations. Very good value, breakfast which was included, was very good. Somewhat of a hostel with our own bathroom, but I knew that and was very comfortable space for 3 adults. All the staff was very nice. Fairly close to Marienplatz.

Great central base!

Cleanliness, friendliness of staff and location. Great that a towel was included and a sweet welcoming treat. Liked that my dorm of 4 beds had its own private toilet and shower. Comfortable bed as well!

If arriving on a warmer day, there is not much ventilation e.g. fan/air con so windows are left open. Others found it a bit hard to sleep as on a busy, lively road, noise travels loudly into the space. Be mindful and bring earbuds if you’re affected by this when sleeping.

Best experience I've ever had for a one night stay, especially for this price.

Breakfast was very good, had a wide variety of options. The staff were very very helpful, they also gave me a lot of good tips for my stay. Managed to get a decent sleep.

When you try to open the windows at night, the noises coming from the streets become very audible.

Perfectly central only minutes away from the best pubs

I visited to watch Man United play against Bayern Munich. Us United fans were drinking and partying in Marienplatz and Oktoberfest and this hotel was right in the middle. Brilliant location! The blonde lady at reception when I arrived was super helping and gave me and my brother a key each which was handy. Should I return to Munich I will definitely stay again.

The AC in the room didn’t work but it was cool enough with windows open.

The towel was missing on the second day of the stay, but the staff was able to rectify it right away after being informed. So not a big deal

Wonderful

Rooms were spacious and clean. Front staff were lovely and always ready to help. Free breakfast was good (basic but did the job). Great location, especially for Oktoberfest.

No kitchen. Air con wasn't fantastic.

Exceptional

Unlike other hostels I've stayed in, this was the only one that welcomed me with a ready-made bed, a towel and a little gift. I stayed in a dorm room, and everything was spotless. The lockers are well organised, with three spacious shelves. The bunk beds are solid; there's no squeaking or clanging while moving in the bed or climbing the ladder. Breakfast was just the right amount and variety of everything a person needs(I eat gluten, lactose and meat, so I wasn't paying attention to that.). The staff is terrific and informed about all the essential things. But, unfortunately, I don't know anything about the extra activities, because I didn't use any. So hence I didn't even ask. I would recommend this YMCA to solo travellers or groups of friends because the location is well connected with the other parts of the city, and all sorts of public transportation are available within 10 min walk ( railway, trams, metro, buses). Thanks for having me! Hopefully, I will see you again!

Simple, but comfortable youth hostel, with a nice, calm atmosphere.

Simple, but clean room. Beds in 4-bed rooms have some features for privacy. The breakfast room/Lobby has a nice and welcoming atmosphere. Good and tasty selection of things for breakfast.

Although the rooms are generally quiet, especially out towards the yard, or a few nights, students on a field trip stayed rooms on the same corridor. It was rather noisy when they went in and out of each others rooms, as the doors banged shut loudly.

- Location has a quiet neighborhood at night - Breakfast is just enough; there are variety to choose from. - Room rate is affordable - Near the Munich central station, around 7mins walk

Cons - Wifi connection was poor inside my room. I need to go near the door just to connect in thw wifi. - No daily housekeeping. They only collect the trash in the garbage can. - The trash can was placed in almost mid of the room. - Beddings are not arranged/fixed daily - Towels are not changed daily - No toothbrush and toothpaste - I stayed for 2 night 3 days, only 1 shampoo-liquid body soap in small sachet was provided. - No extra towel for hair - Shower seems too small. - when the elevator is off from 11pm to 6am, I can hear the footsteps af guests in the stairs. - The coffee and chocolate drinks during breakfast are not hot

It’s great for one night stay!

Staffs were very very kind and welcoming. It’s near the tram station and my room was quiet enough to sleep.

The breakfast was bit poor though. But it’s acceptable and okay since it’s not a hotel. (Had 2 types of hard bread, 2 jams, some slices of ham, butter, some fruits in baskets, and 4 types of drinks: hot water, hot chocolate, hot coffee, and juice.

Friendly staff, great location and facilities

Good location so very central. The room was well equipped and comfortable. Fantastic friendly staff. Nice coffee seating area downstairs as well.

Not allowed to invite friends to your room. But that's understandable as they must have experienced some bad guests before that had had parties etc.
